    Laurence Carr

    is a writer of plays, fiction and poetry. His novel, Pancake Hollow Primer, A Hudson Valley Story, published by Codhill Press, won first prize at the 2012 Next Generation Indie Book Awards for First Novel (under 80,000 words). His fiction and poetry has been published throughout the United States. Over 20 of his plays and theatre pieces have been produced in New York City, regionally, and in Europe. He received a B.F.A. from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree from The Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. He teaches Dramatic and Creative Writing at SUNY, New Paltz.
